THE BARRACA

In in the heart of the Horta Nord, the Montoliu's Barraca offers to the peculiar visitor an ample fan of possibilities to consider from the point of view of the leisure, the typicalhiking and the gastronomy of this singular enclave of the Valencian orchard.

The Montoliu's Barraca, located in the municipal term of Meliana and next therefore, those of
Foios, Albalat dels Sorells, Teuladella and Mahuella (Valencia) and
Albuixec, shows to its clients and friends a small etnologic museum
- where the tools can be admired that utilizarón its ancestors for
the Earth culture -, well-taken care of blocks of horses, as well as
the possibility of enjoying its traditional strolls in tartana and
horses by the term of the environs, taking advantage of the old paths
for the cattle, and delicious meals of own kitchen of the Earth.
